Shanequiwa Sledge, LPC, LCDC-I
Hello my name is Shanequiwa Sledge. I am a licensed professional counselor and a licensed chemical dependency counselor intern. My experience is in trauma, grief, and loss; as well as, child and family/relationship dynamics. I am EMDR trained and have extensive experience in working with a variety of traumas and other life adjusting experiences. I have worked with children within the school system, children and families in underserved communities, survivors and families of domestic violence and other abuse; and I have worked with severe mental illness in a behavioral health hospital.
I am trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities and specialize in trauma, grief, and loss. I am compassionate, I embrace the challenge that comes with therapy, and I enjoy co-creating with my clients the life that they desire. I am passionate about the therapeutic process and look forward to journeying with you through healing to wholeness.

Brooke Gordon, LPC, LCDC-I
Hello my name is Brooke 'Brooklyn' Gordon, I am a licensed therapist who is passionate about being a catalyst of healing, change, and radical advocacy in the lives of others. My values are rooted in the truth that we heal in community. Through ethical practice and striving to reach the highest competency I desire to leave an undeniable legacy in the field of Mental Health and Counseling. It would be my joy to journey through your healing process with you.
I work from an existential lens coupled with a solution focused approach.I specialize in trauma, grief, and loss; relationship and family dynamics. I am trained in EMDR and TF-CBT.
I take pride in curating a safe place for my clients to show up in authenticity and vulnerability. I believe that radical truth telling is the pathway to healing and wholeness.I use a variety of evidenced-based therapeutic modalities that are centered on the clients needs to achieve our agreed upon goals. Spirituality can be utilized as requested by clients.

Dionte' McClendon
As a vibrant thinker and innovative leader Dionte’ McClendon possesses a distinctive ability to communicate authentically. His interests of work intersect between youth-centered engagement and Black mental health.
Dionte’s grassroots experience working with often-marginalized teenagers includes youth with autism, supporting students with emotional and behavioral needs, implementing restorative justice practices and educating young leaders on advocacy locally and nationally. With this wealth of knowledge Dionte has recently relocated back home to Houston, TX as an independent consultant offering courses and consultations to students to students-advocates interested in amplifying youth voice through youth-centered engagement.
Within RE[ME]DY, Dionte serves as director of strategic direction overseeing strategic direction, daily operations and content development. He’s also served as a primary host of the weekly TALK YO SH!T show on their Instagram every Thursday evening during the pandemic. (2020-2022)
Dionte’ understands the scarcity of welcoming and affirming spaces for Black men. He believes that as we heal individually it transcends generationally. Creating safe spaces for Black men is pivotal to healing our communities.
